Every elementary student learns modern Greek as part of the curriculum. Every year a program is held to honor Greek Independence Day.

Every year our music department puts together an amazing Christmas Production.
Dance Time by Stephanie
Children are introduced to a variety of dance styles, including ballet, creative movement, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary. The year culminates with an on-stage production held at California State University, Northridge.

After School Sports
St. Nicholas participates with 12 other schools in the competitive Valley Christian Athletic League. Each year Middle School students have the opportunity to try out for a variety of teams. Our student athletes practice regularly during the week and sign a contract on displaying good sportsmanship and keeping up with their academic requirements.
St. Nicholas offers team sports for both boys and girls from 5th through 8th Grade.
We have an array of options for children at every skill level. We compete with other school in the Valley Christian Athletic league. Approximately 85% of the students participate, and most are on more than one team.
Boys: Flag Football, Basketball and Soccer
Girls: Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball
Art (K-8th)
The following Art Workshops are available to students in grades:
Artistic Expression I grades K-3 includes: Students will develop their artistic expressions by experimenting with a variety of techniques using watercolors, pencils, pastels, charcoal, oil crayon resist and acrylic paints.
Drawing II grades 4-8 includes: Students will experience a more intensive study of drawing and painting while experimenting with various media, such as charcoal, ink, watercolor, acrylic paints, and pastels.
Choir (4th-8th)
Students in grades 4-8 may try out for the St. Nicholas School Choir. Choir members bring beautiful voices to our church services at certain liturgies that are held during the school day. They also prepare to perform in our Christmas Extravaganza.
Karate (K-8th)
This course teaches the basics of self-defense, while incorporating safety and character development. The instructors are licensed in personal safety. The following are emphasized: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Stranger Awareness, Avoiding Confrontation
The Saint Nicholas Parent Student Activity Group has been a long part of the Saint Nicholas School community. Our mission is to enhance the student experience through organized events fostering fun and fellowship, financial donations and active community participation. The Parent Student Activity Group is a great way to meet other parents, have fun and make a direct impact on student campus life.
