S.A.T. Test Results

The complete battery (all subjects) of the Stanford Achievement Test or S.A.T. is administered yearly to all students in 1st through 8th grade. For over thirty years, Saint Nicholas students have consistently scored well above the national average in every subject.

The Grade Equivalency graph below illustrates the grade levels that our graduating senior students tested at. The red line represents the beginning of 8th Grade, and anywhere from 8.7 to 8.9 would represent their grade level at the date of the testing (March - May).

Our graduating classes have consistently scored well above their grade level in all areas of the Stanford Achievement Test (S.A.T.). This test ranks our students with children at the same grade level nationwide. Our 8th graders scored above the 9th grade level (and even above the 11th grade level in History) in Reading, Math, Science and in the overall complete battery of tests (labeled as All Areas), as shown in the graph above.

By the time our students graduate, they are well prepared for the future.

A large percentage of our 8th grade graduates who have applied to private high schools are accepted into the high school of their choice. Many of our graduates are accepted into their school of choice with Honors at Entrance and with Academic Scholarships. Consistently, over one third of our students are accepted into honors classes at the high school of their choice. Some of the private high schools that have enrolled our graduates are Notre Dame, Chaminade, Harvard Westlake, Crespi, Louisville, Bishop Alemany, and Heritage Christian . Many of our alumni have also gone on to attend the most prestigious Ivy League universities in the country.
